I started Fauxtobooth as a way of making people comfortable in front of the camera. As difficult as it is for some people to have their photo taken, they're usually open to this idea - in a photo booth you are allowed to let loose, be silly, and have fun. I've often found that some of my favorite photos from portrait shoots end up being the "warm up" Fauxtobooth shots.

Fauxtobooth has become a much bigger thing now! I have a variety of props and backdrops and have been hired to bring the setup to all sorts of parties! I can come to parties, corporate events, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, quinceañera, reunions... I've even been hired to take less traditional company "headshots" in this way - to make things more fun for employees!
